I WAS ASKED TO CREATE AN ORIGINAL ARTWORK, INSPIRED BY THE THEME OF AN EXHIBITION ABOUT FRANCIS BACON’S DRAWINGS HOSTED AT CA’ DEI CARRARESI MUSEUM IN TREVISO (ITALY), TO BE EXPOSED INTO THE HALL OF THE MUSEUM AND FEATURED AS SCENOGRAPHY FOR THE LIVE ACT OF THE GRAND OPENING.
SO I CREATED, DESIGNED AND SUPERVISED THE REALIZATION (BY A LOCAL ARTISAN) OF A NEON LIGHT SCULPTURE, WHICH PAYS TRIBUTE TO ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS AND ICONIC BACON’S DRAWINGS, “PORTRAIT (WITH YELLOW BACKGROUND)” – 1977 (CIRCA).
