BENOTTO LUIGINO SPUMANTI – BLS, FOUNDED IN 1873, MAYBE IS THE MOST ANCIENT WINERY IN VALDOBBIADENE (ITALY), THE LAND OF PROSECCO.
IN 2012 THEY ACQUIRED A HISTORIC VINEYARD ON THE ISLAND OF SANT’ERASMO (THE LARGEST ISLAND IN THE VENETIAN LAGOON), THE VINEYARD WHERE FOR CENTURIES HAS BEEN PRODUCED THE WINE FOR THE DOGES OF VENEZIA.
IN THAT OCCASION, LUIGINO BENOTTO ASKED ME TO STUDY THE STORY OF THE ISLAND AND OF THE ANCIENT VINEYARD, THEN (ACCORDING TO IT) TO CREATE NAME, BRAND AND CORPORATE IDENTITY FOR THE NEW WINERY BASED IN THAT VINEYARD AND, MORE, TO CREATE THE NAMES OF THE 3 DIFFERENT WINES PRODUCED IN THAT VINEYARD, WITH THEIR RELATED LUXURY LIVERIES. (ISOLA DE VENESIA – NOBIL.HOMO – NOBIL.DONNA – ERASMO) FURTHERMORE, I WAS ALSO ASKED TO CREATE THEIR NEW WEB ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN.
THEN I WAS ALSO ASKED TO ORGANIZE AND CURATE A LAUNCH EVENT WITH PRESS CONFERENCE TO PRESENT THE NEW WINERY AND WINES, WHICH HAS BEEN HOSTED AT PALAZZO VIGNOLA, IN ST. MARK, VENEZIA (ITALY), DURING THE CARNIVAL SEASON.
FINALLY, MR. BENOTTO ASKED ME TO CURATE THE CREATIVE DIRECTION OF THE FULL RESTYLING OF THE BRAND OF HIS MAIN WINERY AND OF SOME OF ITS MOST SUCCESSFUL WINES.
